Soothing in her tender way
From her gentle hands
hurts would melt away.
With a sweet caress She'd lighten up the darkest way.
From paths of pain she took their hands and made them clean again.
When hope seemed false and warmth so cold,
Her strength would never sway.
She lived through torment and abuse to face a brighter day.
Who once was strange is now a friend and loving mother.
She'll keep us tight in her embrace and fight all who try to hurt our ways.
For she is light in it all and never will die and wither.
