Buying an Urn for a loved one can be a daunting experience. You are grieving, there is a sense of urgency because you want the Urn for the service and you want it to be perfect.
Take your time! You will be presented with a temporary Urn by the Crematorium or Funeral Home.
This can be dressed up very nicely for the service, with a shroud and flowers or in other creative ways.
There are several things to consider when purchasing an Urn.
Will it be showcased in your home or interred in a columburium or plot?
What is your budget?
What style would you like?
Perhaps you will be sharing with others, or scattering a portion of the ashes. In this case you may want a smaller Urn or possibly some keepsake urns.
When you are ready, contact me to let me know what you would like. My contact information is on the card above or click the email link. I will need the following information.
The size of Urn or the weight of the loved one.
The style of Urn.
When you will need it by and any information you would like burned on the base.
As a rough guide, you need 1 cubic inch of space in an urn per pound of body weight. So a 150# person would require 150 a cubic inch or larger urn.
